Engagement: Organizational Goals and Employee Opportunities

This Activity would complement any of our courses related to organizational vision.

This Activity includes a short instructional video to introduce the topic and discuss what must be done to implement the activity. You can follow the step-by-step instructions in the Implementation Guide to easily take action on the job in order to build this skill. Within the Implementation Guide is a self-assessment for you to evaluate your results. Some activities include Microsoft Word job aid documents to help you perform the action steps.

This Activity will help you achieve the following objective: Connect the work employees do to the organization and to future opportunities.

This action is made for managers and is designed to create great work for everyone. As a manager, you will perform this action with your employees. By performing this action you will learn how to connect the work employees do to the organization and to future opportunities. You will meet with your employees to share how they contribute to the company and to discuss how they may be able to contribute in the future.

Completing the Activity on the job should take you 1 to 2 hours per employee.
