Onboarding: Sharing Advice With New Team Members

This Activity would complement any of our courses related to employee orientation.

This Activity includes a short instructional video to introduce the topic and discuss what must be done to implement the activity. You can follow the step-by-step instructions in the Implementation Guide to easily take action on the job in order to build this skill. Within the Implementation Guide is a self-assessment for you to evaluate your results. Some activities include Microsoft Word job aid documents to help you perform the action steps.

This Activity will help you achieve the following objective: New hires learn what their peers wished they had known when starting their own job.

This action is made for teams and is designed to help new hires get to know their co-workers and peers. As a team, team members perform this action with a new hire. By performing this action new hires learn what their peers wished they had known when starting their own job.

Completing the Activity on the job should take you 2 to 4 hours.
