Supporting Your Leader: Becoming a Powerful Follower

Because of technology and ever-changing workplaces, companies have had to rethink how they operate. Some company missions see beyond any one leader; for that reason, all employees are responsible for the success of a company.

This section discusses the need to take initiative to properly support the leader without being prompted. Giving feedback tactfully and respectfully is discussed in the third section, the courage to challenge. Lastly, if necessary, is the courage to leave. Followers may find their mission differs from their organization's mission and decide to leave the company.
