The term “neurodiversity” was originally used to foster awareness and acceptance of people with autism. Decades later, neurodiversity has broadened to include people with dyslexia, PTSD, ADHD, Tourette’s, and other atypical brain functions.
This training course explains that employees who are neurodiverse respond differently from those who are considered neurotypical. These responses may include social awkwardness, poor communication skills, and difficulty making eye contact. However, employees with neurodiverse brain functioning often bring positive qualities to the workplace, such as attention to detail and the ability to concentrate.
Viewers are shown practical ways to be more inclusive of neurodiverse candidates during the recruitment and hiring process, and how to implement and manage neurodiversity at work.
Use this training course to learn how neurodiversity in the workplace promotes inclusion and can enhance an organization’s overall strength.
